Whoo is an app for meeting new people, for dating or for friends, through short live chats. There are no photos, no profiles and no swiping. AI finds your people. You just talk.

A new session, called a table, starts every 5 minutes. Joining closes 30 seconds before it starts. You're seated with at least 4 other people and chat with them one at a time.

• Each chat lasts 3 minutes.
• After each chat you get 20 seconds to choose Yes or No, privately.
• A session of about 8 chats takes about 27 minutes.
• If you leave early, the choices you've made still count. Chats you didn't have are skipped.

No. Whoo has no photos and no profiles. You get to know people by what they say, not how they look.

Dating mode is for romance. Friends mode is for new friends. You use one mode at a time and can switch whenever you like. In Friends mode, Auto-Date is called Auto-Hangout and Date Recap is called Hangout Recap.

Any of 45 languages, in every country. Write in your own language. The other person reads it in theirs, with your original underneath, labelled "AI · Translated from" your language.

Only a mutual Yes makes a match. The other person never sees a No.

• After a match you have 24 hours to unlock it. Until then you can only see how many messages are waiting.
• Unlocking opens a chat with no time limit.
• On Basic you get 3 unlocks a week. They reset weekly and don't carry over.
• If you unlock first and the other person never does, your unlock comes back.

Yes. Basic is free: unlimited sessions, AI reply ideas, the 3-minute chat to set up your Twin and 3 unlocks a week.

Whoo Plus is a paid subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices haven't been set yet. It adds:

• a Twin that keeps learning, with unlimited Twin Talk;
• Auto-Date, up to 5 chats a day while you're away, and Date Recap to review them;
• full match reasons;
• 10 unlocks a week.

If Plus ends, your Twin stays and still helps with matches. Auto-Date turns off. Nothing is deleted.

Your Twin is an AI version of you. It starts with a 3-minute chat when you sign up, called "Meet your Twin". It helps Whoo seat you with people you're likely to click with. It's AI, not a person.

You can see, edit or delete what it knows at any time, free on every plan. Read more in Your Twin and AI at Whoo.

Before your first session, we tell everyone that on Whoo Plus a chat may be with someone's Twin. [counsel: per-chat label] Your Twin is designed to say it's AI if someone asks. [To confirm with engineering] A Twin can't use unlocks, spend money or send the first message after a match. A real person always decides whether to unlock.

Not unless you say so. "Help improve Whoo's AI" is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.

Safety is built in. Whoo is for adults 18 and over. Everyone agrees to our house rules before their first session. You can report and block in every chat, and the other person isn't told. Reports are reviewed by people with help from automated tools.

You can delete your account in the app or on the web. You can also delete what your Twin knows without deleting your account. See our Privacy Policy and Your privacy choices for what happens to your data and when.

We haven't set a date yet. Join the waitlist with your email and we'll let you know when you can get in.

When you join the waitlist you get a 6-character invite code and link.

• A friend who joins with your code starts near the front of the line.
• You move up 10 places for each friend who confirms their email, for up to 10 friends.
• Your place only affects early access. There's no prize and no payment.
